Christmas this year was nice. We had the cold
weather in place and the kids were in good spirits. Eli
helped decorate the tree and we had the train running
around the base for him to play with. Even the Trixie
got in on the action, climbing into the tree and taking
down some of the ornaments.
The kids had a good Christmas. Each one got an mp3
player. Molly got a power pack for her laptop, a game
for her DS and art supplies. Nathan got a DVD player
and a computer for his room, Eli also got a computer,
along with other odds and ends. They also all got
clothes, which they were all happy to get. In fact they
seemed to be happy with everything they got, Molly
has disappeared into her room with her laptop while
Nathan and Eli are spending time in their rooms playing
with their computers. And that is my Christmas present
to me, peace and quiet in the living room. :)

And, no, they did not get beer for Christmas. Living by
a tavern these were the only boxes available to pack
their clothes in. So no holiday cheer in a box. :)

Trixie also enjoyed the day, attacking the wrapping
paper, leaping in and out of boxes, and climbing the
Christmas tree. She was the most active on Christmas
morning than she has ever been since we brought her
home several weeks ago.
The day also saw a nice little snow after two days of solid rain. While it may not
officially qualify as a white Christmas (According to the NWS it has to be an inch
or more to qualify as a white Christmas) it was better than a muddy rainy day.
