Missouri Pyro - I joined in 2009 and it has been more fun than I can imagine. MoPyro
holds at least five shoots a year and you will see everything from small 1.4 items to
homemade 16 inch shells go off in a day. The people are great and he shows are even better.
If you love fireworks and are in Missouri I recommend joining up to get your pyro fix
throughout the year. Unfortunately their web site is not very good and hasn't been updated in
a while, but it does have maps to the shoots and a membership form, just in case..
Pyro Universe - For the past few years I have gotten deeper into the world of
pyrotechnics. I never realized how many people out there shared my passion until I
stumbled across this site. Filled this useful tips, knowledgeable people, and enough pyro
talk to keep even the most hard core of us informed, it is one of the must stop websites I go
to every time I log on.
Chris Higgin's Weather Blog - Besides fireworks another strange obsession of mine
is the weather, mainly snow and severe storms. This blog is not only filled with a lot of
people as passionate about weather as me, but it is hosted by a local meteorologist, Chris
Higgins, who will stop by often to give us the inside scoop on the weather. Many times I
know about what is coming up a week ahead of anyone else at school because of this blog. A
word of warning, everyone on this site is passionate about snow and will actually have an
online hissy fit if we miss a snow or do not get the snow we were promised.
Retro Junk - Just like the name implies it is a bunch of junk from the past thirty years
or so. From TV commercials to the drive-in jingles that played between shows this site has a
lot of "junk" for those of us who just can't seem to let go of our past. Even of you aren't over
nostalgic it is a fun place to visit for one of those, "Hey, I remember that!" moments.
